I just need extra traffic once, is that possible?

You cannot buy a single traffic package, but since upgrading is effective immediately and downgrading only becomes effective at the start of your next billing cycle, you can upgrade and immediately afterwards downgrade to your old plan. That way your bandwidth for the current month is upgraded, but the next month you will start with your old limit again.
